When an architect judge a building, its exterior appearance is only one of the factors that interest him. He study the plans, the sections and the facade, considering that everything have to play in harmony. What architects means by this is not easy to explain. In any case, not everyone can comprehend, and at the same time not everyone can visualize a building just by looking to its blueprints. A client who i was explaining a house project it said to me in anger: “Really, I don’t like sections”. He was a sensitive person, and I had the impression that the idea of cut trough something it was disgusting for him.
